The annual hunt to kill baby seals is on in Canada. But the word "hunt" is misleading as these babies--many less than four weeks old--are mercilessly clubbed or shot point blank where they rest. Even more cruelly, they are regularly skinned alive. This year Canada signed a death warrant for over 400,000 seal pups--its largest quota ever and a huge threat to seal survival. What can you do?
Tell Canada's Prime Minister Stephen Harper to discontinue this needless cruelty and to stop aggressively pushing seal products on countries that don't want them. Urge him to do the right thing by protecting, not slaughtering, Canada's defenseless baby seals.
